Ya'll a buncha nuts... LOL It doesn't matter where you were born, just that you make the most of the fact that you were. As for the health care debate, I don't really think the candidates presented to us as a whole are in any position to do anything about it. Hilary's too wishy-washy, Obama doesn't really seem to care, and I'm not sure McCain is any more real than those two clowns. Therefore, it doesn't matter if we socialize health care 'cause all of them are bound to screw it up.

Mention health care + "Change" or some new slogan or B.) They'll avoid the issue altogether and focus on a non-issue (like which side your American flag lapel pin is on )

^ Well everybody knows that people who put the flag Pin on the left is a commie. Any true blue American carries the pin near their heart and will vote for Heller. "Head-butt the weak!" -If you can identify him you win a karma token! - It is nice that Americans are so easily destracted, and that non-issues are always the hot topic, but the question at hand is who should americans vote on? 1) We have Clinton who coundn't even keep her husband under control. 2) There's Obama who often seems to be composed of an empty suit and a smile. 3)Ron Paul is running on behalf of those who like to wish upon a star 4)Nader is there for a quick chuckle 5) and there is McCain, who frightens small women and children.

1) We have Clinton who coundn't even keep her husband under control. She's too busy losing primary states and saying, "This/these won't matter.." etc... 2) There's Obama who often seems to be composed of an empty suit and a smile. I think that he's trying to be featured in history books before they're even thought of, let alone written. So, he spouts off a few meaningless buzz words and phrases (look how fast everyone else started using "change") in place of actually talking about issues. When he does talk about them, they are footnotes in the grand scheme of "change." Hell, I'm a registered Libertarian, and even I won't vote for Paul. To me, it doesn't make sense for a third-party politician to run under the banner of the Republicans simply to say "I'll get more votes." I joined the LP because I wanted to join a group espousing liberal social views and conservative fiscal views; Paul is just conservative all around with a few liberal ideals for "balance." Not buying it. Holy CENSORSHIP!, I totally forgot about him... I would tell him, to his face, that I admire his inner strength, his courage and willpower. He's gone through things no man ever should. However, the Presidency needs youth as much as it needs experience; look at President Bush over the past 8 years. He looks like he's aged 20 years in his physical appearance. McCain, I believe, would not be up to the strenuous task of running a nation.

I'll concede that he went through a lot more than anybody should have, but he still scares me. the choices presented to us just arn't that great. Personally i'd like a Roosevelt , either one would do as long as there wasn't another executive order 9066, but that's not gonna happen

The worst part about this race is that, IMO, none of the major parties choices are that spectacular. Hilary does well as a senator, but I just don't think she'd get as much accomplished if she were President; she knows parliamentarian rules quite well, but outside of that I don't have much confidence in her.

yup, but we all have to choose someone. though i like to wonder what would hapen if no one at all voted. November 4 comes and goes and not a single vote is cast... Wonder what the headlines would say. I bet it would be something like "Voter Turnout Hits All Time Low" or "Apathy or Disgust? No Decision for 2008"

That would be amazing... It's not that I don't care about the election, but I wouldn't want to vote for someone I didn't believe in simply because they were one of the only major candidates
