Last night I was discussing the sequel title with a friend and I came up with my personal dream names for the next two films. They are: Batman: Rising Laughter (2), and Batman: Endless Knight (3). The last title assumes that this will be a trilogy, with movie 3 being the last, with a fitting name for a finale, IMO. What do you guys think?

^What the crap?!!! I actually like the sound of "Batman Rises" as well. It fits like "Batman Begins" fit the title for the rebirth of the film franchise of Batman.

Two things; one, I believe that Escalation would make a great title mainly because it fits in with the last snippets of dialoge from Gordon at the end of Batman Begins; "What about escalation?..." Secondly, "Batman Rises", IMO, would make a great post-Knightfall-esque title because it would prove that Batman can "roll with the punches, and come out on top"...

What about BATMAN: TEARS OF A CLOWN or BATMAN: THE MAN WHO LAUGHS the problem with titles like those is people will think that your saying that batman is a man who laughs and stuff like that. you have to focus on batman. out of teh ones ive heard so far, i like batman rises

Yeah. We didn't think about that. OK. I have this to say. When i saw Begins. We where like "Oh Mi God!" & as I walked out I heard two people in their 40s muttering... "I cant believe that! It was aweful, so dark! I cant believe it strayed from the source material!" And of coarse there where legions of fans there including me who chued them out. Angry we where. Since many people think that Batman is for kiddies, nag, nag, pick, pick! & Batman Begins means its a prequil. People only think about what they see. So that wouldn't be sucha good title after all.
