I hope that the feedback Bale received for "Terminator Salvation" will help him work on his somewhat aggravating dialog delivery.
Is anyone else here frustrated by the dull vocal performances of Bale in Batman Begins , The Dark Knight and most recently, "Terminator Salvation"?

I've got a kind of love-hate relationship with Bale's voice. It's very Clint Eastwood esque; which works for Batman. Bruce would naturally want to disguise his voice. Michael Keaton changed it to a small extent, as did Val Kilmer. George Clooney didn't even try. He crashes through a sky-light and lands on a poker table, surrounded by dastardly criminals and says "I'm Batman." I highly doubt it would intimidate any of them since they'd immediately assume he's just George Clooney in a blue rubber suit.
If Bale toned it down it could work quite nicely. I think it was perfect in Batman Begins and it just became ridiculous in The Dark Knight; particularly "I'm not wearing hockey pants!"
