I absolutely loved the black and white look pioneered by Batman: The Animated Series in that it perfectly captured the duality of the character using only two hues... So, my answer would be a split-suit.
What's your opinion on this and why?

I'll agree that the split suit is best. Split personality => split suit.

I'll agree that the split suit is best. Split personality => split suit. As long as it isn't like the Tommy Lee-Jones suit; interesting colors, yes, but a tad too flamboyant for my tastes...

Yeah. They should just stick to the Batman: the animated series costume. It had style.

Yeah. They should just stick to the Batman: the animated series costume. It had style. That, and it works in any given period. It shouldn't be too hard to make that kind of suit work on film...

he needs the good side to be a monotone color, and the evil side should be a dark coloured plaid

I'd go with either a 40's style plaid. (Although in less extreme colors) or the checkerboard suit from TLH. & while Tommy Lee Jones' suit was interesting it was more like something The Joker would wear.
If you're gonna call yourself Two-Face wouldn't your suit be 2 styles & not 27?

yeah I didn't like the tommy lee jones two-face, played it too out there, just cause you have a dual identity disorder doesn't mean you have to be crazy about it...geez, tommy lee! I do love the Batman AS version, with the white hair and the yellow eye, and the black and white suit was cool, i'd like to see that if you think plaid is too much, for a guy who has to flip a coin to make a decision, do you think he has problems ordering things in restaurants? If he wants the steak or the fish? which side would be bad?

Not to mention the fact that whenever Two-Face uses the coin, in the words of Batman from "Riddler's Reform," " He flipped it over."
