GL's are in my opinion, the best characters in all of DC. Not only are they peacekeepers, but they can also take both sides of the playing field. for example, Sinestro (once a great GL) became on of the greatest villains. and Hal Jordan became somthing of a freelance superhero with the JLA

Green Lanterns are great. I really like the ones that are less popular. Kilowag and Guy Gardner are my two favorites. Guy should be on JLU. I don't think there is much time for that though.

GL's are the reason i got into comics. GL Emerald Knights TPD was my first TPD and after that it was Flash Green Lanter Brave and the Bold. Both great and i recommend, tho EK pretty much pits you in the midst of the parallax fiasco so it gets kinda hard to follow if that's unfamiliar for you.
The thing i love about GL's are how they operate. Their tools, little pawns that carry out orders. Usually that turns me off but not so here. They fight for a cause more noble then anything else and they devote their lives to it. The ring is the coolest aspect of them tho. To build anything with it just by willing it to do so is great on two fronts: 1.)How much strength and will it takes to just make the ring work (as found out by GA in GL: Rebirth, also recommended). and 2.) i'm an artist so the aspect of making anything come to life is very seductive to me.
Aren't we GL fans lucky to be around rite now. With GL Rebirth, Recharge and so on out it really is great to have the Green Pajamas back. Hal's my personal fave and i love seeing him back but hate the neglect of such a character as kyle. I also recommend the current running series of GL and GL: Recharge. They're great reads and Recharge sets up for the new corps. From 3600 GL's to 7200.

I was not a big fan of Recarge, but Rebirth was good

Have any of you heard of Salaak. He is another of my favorite GL's because he is the Loner of the Corps. He is just a cool all around character. I am also a fan of Chaselon, but i cant figure out why

Yes. The GL series with Hal will continue on into OYL where, as i hear it, his life will not be all that different considering he's just came back. However his relations with other heroes will be more developed and not the usual "hey weren't you dead?" comments.
After GL: Recharge comes to an end next month a new comic will come out with the same creative team. The comic, entitled GL Corps, will follow the exploits of the GL's of Oa and their missions.
Any Kyle Rayner fans? Kyle will get his comic again when OYL introduces The Ion once more. In Ion he becomes quite powerful and i believe it will be quite interesting as supposedly the first issue is him betraying the Lanterns. His new costume looks quite nice as well.

I've liked the GL's too, though I can't say much for their latest attempt on JLU...he looked better w/out the beard.
