I've come to the conclusion that the 2008 US presidential elections feature absolutely no qualified candidates (including third party) to hold public office. Therefore, I believe that I will vote for the following person this November; Lex Luthor.
He has a lot going for him; he's a "grassroots" American and billionaire industrialist who has overcome both cancer and his handicap of being a fictional character.
Regardless of what happens following the election, I know this; at least with former President Luthor, you know where he stands on crime, terrorism and general nefarious doings.

He's got my vote.
Seriously, get Clancy Brown to shave his head, do a few TV spots of him in a White House set, and I think it'll be a done deal. ;D

On the topic of the election, my family is so frustrated with the mediocrity of every candidate that we're all going to write-in fictional presidents ;D My sister is voting for "Josiah Bartlett" (The West Wing), my mom is voting for "Laura Roslin" (Battlestar Gallactica) and my grandmother is voting for "Arnold Palmer" (24)
