Anyone see it last night? It was fun and a great way to give non-comic fans a deeper perspective on the characters. The only thing I actually learned was that Chris Nolan compared Bruce Wayne's story to Theodore Roosevelt (whom I always saw connected with Jim Gordon considering their similar appearance and occupation as police commissioner)!

The only thing I actually learned was that Chris Nolan compared Bruce Wayne's story to Theodore Roosevelt (whom I always saw connected with Jim Gordon considering their similar appearance and occupation as police commissioner)! Just saw it on YouTube... God bless borderline-legal piracy! ;D The Theodore Roosevelt aspect was great! What I thought was fascinating was the reference to a book that, ironically enough, I purchased on the 4th of July this year called Man's Search For Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl. A psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor , Frankl describes, essentially, how we ultimately make the choice to cause great evil or good in the world* *Among other things, including a philosophy that I have been searching for for quite some time. I will fork this thread if anyone expresses an interest in discussing this in the off-topic section.
