I thought that it would be an interesting way to talk about world events, historical situations, or of any other non-fiction topics wherever you live.
I think the best quote to describe how I feel about this comes from DC's Jack Napier, when he states
But that's just my opinion; what do you guys think and why?

I don't see much wrong with politics on a page for heroes. Many of the situations they face turn out to be political allegories anyway.
If it weren't for the fact that the author's son died i would have viewed the assassination of Captain America as he tries to defend his privacy in the same way that America is loosing much of itself as it's privacy is getting kicked in the groin. (I could be wrong about the situation as he was not one of the characters i followed. If so, I apologize)
The only problem is it might turn out to be something like this: "bush sucks monkey balls!" "Yeah!" ... ... "what do we discuss now?"

I think it could work. Do you remember the thread discussing Captain Planet? We ended up contemplating today's policies on enviromentalism. It was great. ;D

Cool post! And hey, even if we didn't have a devoted sub-board, posts like that are still cool

so are you going to create one or would it be better to wait until there are more than a couple topics lined up?
