I had to write a paper recently about whether or not revenge is ever justified-- I wrote about Batman and his quest for justice... I received full-credit, and an A to-boot! ;D LOL

My class was listening to a Gregorian chant CD, and one of the songs called "Carmina Burana" started playing... I remembered a conversation here at DC regarding the 1989 Batman film score and how Carmina was a chief source of inspiration for Danny Elfman, and low-and-behold, I was essentially listening to Batman in-class! ;D

Ah, yes, but has your random-@$$ trivia ever won you 400 thingies on "Jeopardy!"? Timothy and I were watching it recently, and he answered "Who is Frank Miller?" for the answer "He wrote the stories 'Dark Night Returns' and 'Strikes Back.'" Eat it, Trebeck!

I remember that! It was quite amusing... Here's a new story; I just B-S'd a distance from my birthplace to Pinewood Studios in England (which was where Batman was filmed) AND GUESS WHAT? I WAS 1 MILE SHORT OF THE ACTUAL DISTANCE OF 101 MILES! LMAO

Yep, I learned how to escape being bound and gagged. (And by gagged, I mean pranked.) And the Jo-ker got a-wayyyy!

...as much as I hate to admit it, I learned much of my stealth/ escape techniques from batman and other comic books...the saddest thing is the fact that i can actually get them to work and noone else i've asked can so far. it's also where i learned that sometimes things can be conspicuously inconspicuous... you wouldn't believe how often that's helped me.

Actually, there's a Batman book that can teach you how to be stealthy... It's called The Batman Handbook, and yes, I own it ;D

I recently had to work on a paper for class, but I needed some background on Greek gods that I couldn't remember. Thanks to our ol' friend, Maxie Zeus, I could remember Daedalus and the whole deal... I heart Maxie...
