people i have been giving this a bit of thought lately
does anybody know what that piece is called.
its the one that is played at the very beginning of batman mask of the phantasm.
heres the link for the instrumental piece itself
www.youtube.com/watch?v=En2mJ9BqfU4
it's a take on that instrumental piece from the animated television series that plays whenever batman takes an extreme life or death risk near the end of the episode as he fights the villain
does anybody know what the lyrics are to the piece or for that matter if the piece ever actually had a set of lyrics to go with it?
the second youtube link takes you to the second half of the jlu episode the doomsday sanction
www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xalPe2VFXA
with this video set to 7:51 time wise and the volume control set at the half way mark
and the video for mask for mask of the phantasm set at 0:17 time wise with the volume control set at full blast
could someone please try playing that piece from mask of the phantasm with the doomsday sanction video
that whole scene where john tells batman to use the javelin ship as a way to mag lock the missle to the ships hull
the whole scene from that point on is pretty much an all or nothing, life or death ultimate risk, leap of faith that batman takes in commiting himself to carrying out that action in life no matter what the cost will be to his person
now is it just me or would that part of the jlu episode in some slight part have been improved for the better at the time if the producers had actually used that instrumental peice from batman mask of the phantasm?
since the scene itself did not involve any villains from batmans rouge gallery at the time i really do not see how including that instrumental piece in the episode for that part would have violated the bat ban that was in effect at the time.
