people i got a question when it comes to justice league unlimited
how exactly would the series have gone over if the 5th season had ended with a final episodes set 5 years or so after destroyer.
an episode in which the whole opening scene before the opening credits is for all intents and purposes a very nearly entirely faithful animated adaption of the wedding scene ceremony ending from superman the weding album
the only key differance though would be that professor emil hamilton would be the only person who would not appear in the scene due to his having been on bad terms with superman when it comes to the whole legacy and cadmus affair
the next scene after the opening credits would show the newly wedded clark and lois kent being escorted to the airport by bruce wayne and diana in which they would escort they would fly the kents to themyscira island.
john jones the martian manhunter would meet the kents on the island with his role in the episode being that he would read superman's mind while superman would do his level best to remember as clearly as possible the dream he had in the season 4 episode for the man who has everything john would then mentally share with lois and diana supermans memory of the dream itself
as for dianan's role in the matter it would be 2 fold
one she would aid clark and lois in their attempt to create a clay statue of a very young male child
2 she would be the kents representing voice to the olympian gods with diana making a impassioned plea to the gods that the statue be given life and the chance to live its life as a predominantly kryptonian human child
the final scene of the episode would of the statue being given lie and it being made rather clear that as a living being the child would for all intents and purposes be a lving van- el
in short people superman would make an attempt to both honor his promise to the son he lost when he forced himself to wake up from that dream in the episode
for the man who has everything
and at the same time gain a true son to carry on his legacy in giving that person true life as a living being with this episode serving as a superman counterpart to season jlu 4's episode epilogue
me i figure for all the good he has done throughout his lifetime superman would at the very least be deserving of that much in the end
i dont know about anyone else here but i seriously pityied the guy when he realised he was dreaming and forced himself to wake up from the dream near the tail end of for the man who has everything
i actually think that would have made for a memorable episode to close out the final season with.
what ar your thoughts people?
