Anyone else here a fan of Superman: The Animated Series? I loved how Producer Bruce Timm and Co. were able to blend elements of Superman lore with other famous denizens of the DC universe

I have all 3 seasons, I loved it, the best. Darkseid was awesome and the fact they used Michael Ironside for the voice made him more evil. Wish they used the original Bizarro instead of the newer version who was a clone, wanted to see cube bizarro world...me am glad!!!

I'm just glad that they slightly changed his speech structure; I absolutely hate the backwards speech of "me am angry to see you!" from the comics... I say just give him the speech patterns of a simplistic four year old... Yeah, Bizarro World would've been cool to see, and great fodder for a better direct-to-video than that "Brainiac Attacks!" one... *Shudder*

never saw that one, Superman Doomsday was awesome, the first fight scene in the movie was one of the best I have seen, and Justice League new frontier was good but not great, I mean Superman wasn't even in the last fight...can't wait for Gotham Knight!

Yeah, Gotham Knight's the first anime that I'll watch with raving anime fans and not get mad... Anywho, I was able to watch what I consider to be the darkest episode of Superman ever; "The Late Mr. Kent." It ended with a character literally about to be executed! I children's television... ;D

I remember that one! is that the one where he saves accused person and the cop gets gassed? Gotta love the quick executions that Metropolis has! yet in the entire series that was the only criminal to die...
The tie-ins were great too. gotta love Lobo.

I like Lobo, but he's not one of my favorite characters ever; he's like Boba Fett or Ghost Rider... He looks cool, but that's about it...

cause Boba Fett was under-used, most of the time it was him walking across the screen and looking around...Nicholas Cage as Johnny Blaze was horrible, Ghostrider stank worse than a 2 day old diaper

I smell an excellent forked thread Anywho, who was your favorite villain in the series? Mine would have to be Lex Luthor because of his suave demeanor...
