Ever since the first time I picked up this book and read it cover to cover, there has only been one character who has captured my attention with the nature of his complexity; that man is Comedian. To imagine a man who mercilessly butchers people in the South Pacific in World War Two and Viet-Cong in the Vietnam Conflict is a hero in the eyes of Americans is a terrifying idea. After all, if you can be this vicious and be called a "hero," what does it take to be called a "monster"?
