I absolutely loved the pilot episode to this new animated series, especially considering that "The Brave and the Bold" was one of my favorite series to read while growing up. As a fan of the wacky 50's comics, the pilot episode was bloody hilarious for me. I especially enjoyed the German "Clock King" voice and redesign

I enjoy it when I get the chance. It's a huge improvement over Begins. I would probably enjoy it more if I were able to actually follow it more. I find it interesting how they bring in the other superheroes to help in a manner similar to the old Scooby Doo show. It's an interesting device that both keeps the focus on Bats without the annoying emphasis and invincibility complex that accompanies most shows based off of beloved superheroes.

I like the high-energy fight scenes reminiscent of Justice League, yet appropriate for a younger audience. At this point in "Bat-fandom" we have the ability to choose our incarnation of the Caped Crusader and, man is that freedom sweet.

No, not the movie. The animated series. I think I got it wrong... I know it starts with a B... Beyond, maybe?
And yes, the freedom to pick our poison is both a blessing and a curse as it pits our favorites against each other. It's fun, however, in that it prompts our writers to be ever more creative and conscientious of what they are doing.

I enjoyed it for one main, which I shall discuss in a forked thread. True With the Brave and the Bold, I think the writers are going to have a blast exploring DC Comics from 1938 to the present, especially since they've chosen the 1950's Joker design to represent their younger-oriented series.
