The music, explosions and art-direction are reminiscent of the Dick Sprang era, which I have somewhat of a fondness for. I'm just glad that (for the most part) DC and WB executives admit that this is more of a "kid friendlier" Batman for people who, I guess, can't handle shows like Batman: The Animated Series
