Split from: Tony+Stark+Builds+Captain+America%27s+Shield%3F%21%3F+never knew that, I went on the basis from the Ultimate avengers movies...when Cap gets thawed and they hand him a new shield made from the metal taken from those weird aliens Choice #1  Choice #2  I'm more of an "Ultimate Avengers" kind of guy when it comes to the 1940's sequences; I loved how Marvel used a paratrooper's uniform and modified it without losing the essence of the character.

man I prefer the WW2 costume from the Ultimates, it fits more into that time frame and it looks awesome to boot...get it cause he wears...boots...ah hem...I can hear the crickets

well, I do try, but yeah the ultimates comics version is as close to real life as you can get

Judging by Marvel's inclusion of the Ultimates version of Nick Fury in Iron Man, I'm betting that there's a good chance we'll see this version on the silver screen over the original version of Captain America...
