How does Mr. Freeze power his suit? Is it powered by hydrogen, carbon or any other element? Is it nuclear?

I think it was just that crappy movie's way of avoiding the question... Could it be something like hydrogen, which would give off H20, thus, providing a potential coolant when mixed with other components?

His suit is powered by ice puns & the kinetic energy given off from an Austrian accent.... oops, that's just the movie.
I'm also thinking hydrogen. & the tanks generally seen on his back would each contain a different chemicle which when combigned with whatever he exhales ( I don't think it would be carbon dioxide, if he doesn't breathe oxygen) creates a freezing liquid.

Perhaps it could be as simple as highly compressed air. As it is released and put through a vortex tube it would cool cown and since the expansion itself would absorb heat, he could be kept cool easily. huzzah for physics.

That sounds reasonable; I'll chat with my mom about this one... She's an engineer with experience in this sort of field...

I think it's run on the tears of executives at Warner Bros after seeing the numbers from Batman and Robin

I think it's run on the tears of executives at Warner Bros after seeing the numbers from Batman and Robin But that's based on the assumption that executives have tears ;D

For the record, I realize that we're being overly cynical and that there are good people on corporate staffs. I just hate it when those executives happen to be huge Adam West fans...
