Yeah; that's absolutely terrible. I thought John would've been killed by the third purported film, but give me a break...

McG, in a way, rebuked this ending, saying that "only three people" know the ending. rss.warnerbros.com/terminatorsalvation/I love the first Terminator, but to be honest, I would have preferred if Terminator 2 covered the war, with Cameron behind the helm and Biehn returning as Kyle Reese. Now it'll be covered by McG. I'm honestly not sure what to think. I tried watching his Charlie's Angels movies on TV and couldn't stand it. We'll see, though.

I remember reading that, and I hope he is referring to the previously posted ending. Who knows? Maybe my hypothesis might come true after all... Have you seen the deleted scenes to T2? I found out that Reese was in the film during a hallucination/dream sequence when Sarah's still in the psychiatric hospital. Well, I hope he's learned that you can't take a bad TV show and make a good movie out of it (see, "Speed Racer"). I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one...

Oh yeah, I have the "EXtreme DVD" edition of the film that has the cut scenes, like these, incorporated into the film (the cover is simply a picture of a Terminator skeleton). It was cheap at Target for less than $10!
It's a bit unnerving that Reese in the new film is going to be played by an actor who is younger than I am (!!!!!!), but I think it actually does make sense in the timeline for Reese to be that young. I'm guessing we shouldn't expect him to volunteer on the time travel mission until one of the later films of course, haha.
Yeah, I'm hoping he's learned.

Yeah, I'm hoping he's learned.[/quote] Well, even if it sucks, we can always make fun of it on-screen ;D

I saw that scene on Space(canadian sci fi channel) and wondered what the hell I was watching... like the scene in aliens when ripley is sitting before she heard about her daughter and after the scene when she had the nightmare about the alien ripping out of her

For example, there's a TV version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit that shows a couple of cut scenes from the theatrical version.
