Hello....I'm Batman.(I've always wanted to say that. ) If any of you visit the SuperHeroHype forums/boards,you know me by the name 'Master Bruce'.(And,if you do happen to know me by that....You...probably have some stories...) As you can probably tell,I'm a huge Batman fan.I've been that way for almost 21 years.I've been apart of the messageboard craze for around 3 years now,and am a member of many.(Though some aren't very popular) I'm hoping to have a good experience here, despite the fact that I stole one of our most beloved character's names.

Considering the quality of today's line of Batman comics, I can't believe that any youngsters have any interest in Batman, which is why I'm surprised to read so many members here are teenagers. I'm 25 which, from what I've seen, makes me the oldest member here.
My username here is DBrennan3333. Because I use that name everywhere, some of you might recognize me from TheForce.net, LOG, or various other places.
BatmAngelus referred me here, after I PM'd him a problem I was having with my posts being randomly edited at LOG. I had just joined LOG a few days prior but I was pissed off to find out that this power-tripping mod who probably thought he really WAS Batman went in and deleted half my posts. Which upset me. (It does, after all, have MY name on it.)
Said power-tripping mod actually hangs out at these boards but here's hoping they don't run this place like a concentration camp. (For the record, the rest of my intro here is the same thing I said at LOG.)
Don't feel like you have to memorize what I say about myself here. I'm not going to quiz you, so I'll never know if you forget.
My name is David. I'm 25 and very, very particular about what kind of Batman I like. I'm so particular, in fact, that if some presentation is off in even the most incidental detail I just dismiss it as non-Batman. "No giant penny in the Batcave? Nope, that's not Batman, that's just some idiot trying to impress girls."
To me, the quintiessential Batman is the one portrayed in the comic books from 1990-1994, right up to the end of the Knightfall storyline, (which was called Knightsend, concluding perfectly in LOTDK #63 - check it out!) I loved Denny O'Neil's guidance on the comics, but whether it was his judgment call or whether it was the decision of suits who were trying to milk the maxi-series cashcow for all it was worth, the comics took a huge, huge, downturn after Knightfall (Kelly Jones' art, the idiot Contagion story, Bane becoming a bad villian etc. etc. etc.) and I drifted.
My favorite Batman artist is Norm Breyfogle (who actually did a piece of art for my beloved science fiction epic....inquire within!) and my favorite Batman writers would be Denny O'Neil, Chuck Dixon, and Young Frank Miller (no relationship to Old Frank Miller).
I consider myself an extremely friendly, eager-to-please sort of fellow, and so don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. (Especially if you are interested in buying my beloved science fiction screenplay.)
Looking Forward to Good Debates, David (DBrennan3333)

Well i can see you were not a big fan of Tim Burtons films then(refering to your distaste for inaccurate portrayls of Batman)
I personaly feel that if someone wants to change the story a bit, let them so long as its legal. Tim Burton slaughtered the Batman name however, but even though Batman Begins was not perfect, it was still as "Batman" as it gets
Regardless, welcome to DC Comments.
